About Hatfield, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Hatfield, Pennsylvania is a borough of Montgomery County with approximately 3,300 residents. This community is located about 30 miles northwest of Philadelphia and 90 miles southwest of New York City. Hatfield Township was formed in 1742, and the borough was created in the late 1800s after the Philadelphia Railroad Company constructed a line between Bethlehem and Philadelphia that traversed the area’s open farmland. The SEPTA Lansdale-Doylestown Line then used this railway until the late 1970s, but now the tracks are only used for freight transportation and the occasional scenic rail trip.

Despite being a small community, there are a few interesting things to see and do in Hatfield. Golf enthusiasts may like to book a tee time at Twin Woods Golf Course, and residents who are working on a home improvement project may need to make a stop at the neighborhood Lowe’s. Other popular attractions are located in nearby Lansdale, including Cardinal Hollow Winery, Merrymead Farm, Round Guys Brewing Company, and Peter Wentz Farmstead.

When residing in Hatfield, it is important to be prepared for anything that Mother Nature has to offer in terms of the weather. The summer months tend to be hot and humid, with average daily highs reaching well into the 80s. Heat waves are common in the area, so there are many days in which thermostat readings can hit the upper 90s. An energy efficient air conditioning system will help to keep indoor conditions comfortable regardless of how unpleasant it might become outdoors.

During the winter months, weather conditions in Hatfield are drastically different. Conditions become cold quite quickly, and there are many days in which daily high temperatures fail to even surpass the freezing point. Having a reliable furnace is crucial, but it is also important that residents have their systems serviced regularly by an HVAC professional. This will ensure that they will work properly when needed.
