About Doylestown, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Bucks County, PA, Doylestown is a growing borough that also serves as the county seat. As of 2013 there were approximately 8,350 residents living in this community, which is located about 25 miles north of Philadelphia and 80 miles to the south of New York City. Residents of Doylestown can easily commute into Philadelphia to work via the Lansdale-Doylestown Line of SEPTA Regional Rail. Central Bucks School District serves the community, and neighboring Doylestown Township is home to Delaware Valley University, which is primarily an agriculture and science school.

There are several things to see and do when visiting Doylestown. The Mercer Museum displays Henry Chapman Mercer’s collection of American artifacts, and a former prison located across the street has been turned into the James A. Michener Art Museum. The Doylestown Country Club is a popular destination for visitors who want to play a round during the spring and summer months, and nature lovers might enjoy a trip to Peace Valley Park or Ringing Rocks Park. Other points of interest in the community include the Henry Schmieder Arboretum, Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, and the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa.

The weather in Doylestown will vary dramatically with the season. Summer conditions are hot and humid, with average daily highs that reach into the 80s or 90s. Most residents invest in reliable, energy efficient air conditioning units during these months in order to stay cool, but they will only be needed for a few months. It is even more important that homeowners have a high-quality furnace or heat pump in place in order to stay warm during the frigid winter months, as freezing temperatures and snowfall can cause dangerous conditions both indoors and outdoors. It is recommended that residents have their home heating systems tuned up in the autumn months to ensure they are ready to go when the harsh winter weather sets in.
